Recall that bandits in the early hours of Wednesday killed while one student and abducted 27 students, staff, and other persons from the Government Science Secondary School, Kagara.

Nigerians had condemned the state government over the state of things in the facilities of the school which looked abandoned.

Bello, while speaking on the rescue mission, noted that a lot of steps have been taken and the students will be released in a few days or in a few hours.

The Niger State Governor added that he can’t disclose the decisions that had been taken towards the release of the students and staff.

He added that he would work with local vigilantes, traditional rulers in the state to help in the insecurity issues in the state.
