Change Agent International (C.A.I) has honoured the National Commandant, Peace Corps of Nigeria, Dr Dickson A.O. Akoh, with an *AWARD OF EXCELLENCE* in recognition of his exemplary leadership, commitment to excellence and outstanding humanitarian services.
Presenting the award in Abuja on Thursday 23rd July, 2026, the Chief Executive Officer of C.A.I, Mrs. White, said the honour reflects Dr. Akoh’s global impact and unwavering commitment to youth development. She commended his visionary leadership, whose dedication to empowering young people align with international standards for peacebuilding and youth empowerment.
Also speaking, the Chief Communication Officer of Yoruba Ni Colorado, Prince Sotade George, described the award as a celebration of Dr. Akoh’s resilience and enduring legacy, adding that he remains a role model worthy of emulation.
In his response, Dr. Akoh expressed appreciation to C.A.I for the recognition, describing the organisation as a partner in progress. He dedicated the award to the officers and men of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, saying it reflects their collective efforts in impacting vulnerable persons and young people across the country.
