Meanwhile, former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi has said that the country is collapsing under the watch of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Naija News reports that the spate of attacks on security agents and formations in the Southeast which had resulted in the death of personnel and the destruction of property have continued abated.

Speaking on Tuesday during the burial of former Commissioner for Health during his time, Prof. Linus Ilika, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Akwa, Obi said the current security situation is becoming worrisome.

The People Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart also lamented the indifference of the President and his cabinet members over the present condition in the country.

He noted that the truth of the matter was that Nigeria was crumbling and yet those that should do something about it carry on as if all is well.
