The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stated that only God gives and takes life.
Naija News reports that the former Lagos State governor stated this while speaking at an event organised to welcome him back to the country.
Recall that the Jagaban has been away from the country for the past three months where in underwent a knee surgery and physiotherapy.
Speaking in Sunday, Tinubu expressed thanks to God for bringing him back to Nigeria safely.
He said: “I am a little emotional but I am happy to be back home. God is the giver of life and He alone can take it.”
Those at the invite include: Tinubu’s wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu; wife of the Governor Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat; former Lagos Deputy Governor Mrs. Idiat Adebule; House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila; Lagos Speaker Mudashiru Obasa; Senator Olamilekan Solomon, among others.
