President Muhammadu Buhari is set to present the 2022 appropriation bill (budget) to a joint sitting of the National Assembly today, Thursday.
According to a letter to both the Senate and the House of Representatives, Buhari will present the budget by 12 noon.
Naija News gathered that the 2022 budge has a projection of 16.39 trillion.

12: 30: President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the chamber of the National Assembly to present the 2022 budget estimate before a joint session of the National Assembly.
12:05: Christian prayers was rendered by Senator Bamidele Opeyemi(APC-Ekiti State), and a Moslem one by Rep Makki Yalleman(Jigawa-APC) were said.
11: 36 am: Senators, led by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, have entered into the Green Chamber.
Lawan will chair the joint session alongside Gbajabiamila. The President of the Senate is statutorily the Chairman of the Joint Session because he is the Chairman of the National Assembly.
11:23 am: The minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed and the Minister for interior, Rauf Aregbesola are already in the chambers.
11:15 a.m: Senate suspends plenary and joins the House of Representatives for the budget presentation.
The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, however announced that the senators will return to their chambers after the budget presentation.
10:00 am: Security operatives at the entrance to the National Assembly are conducting thorough screening on staff and other individuals coming into the complex.
It was gathered that those without a pass are not being granted access to the National Assembly Complex.
