Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has mocked the organizers of the Osogbo rally calling support for the actualization of a Yoruba Nation.
It was gathered that heavy rainfall was witnessed at the venue of the rally on Saturday which was put together by agitators for the Yoruba Nation.
It was reported that the rains came down shortly after Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho finished addressing the agitators at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
Reacting to the rain which ‘dispersed’ the gathering, Sani took to his Twitter account to warn the agitators to drop their ambition and rather support the unity of Nigeria as a nation.
He said the rain was a divine message to the organizers and agitators.
“The heavy rainfall that dispersed the separatist agitators in Osogbo is a divine message for them to change cause and work for the unity of our country. The idea of an ethnic or religious purist state stems from a xenophobic mind intolerant to co-existence,” Sani wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has declared that there is no going back on the decision of the southern governors to ban open grazing in their region.
This is as the Governor noted that anyone who is opposed to the decision is free to die.
Wike made the submission on Saturday in Bori, Khana Local Government Area of the state during a grand reception put together for him by the Ogoni people.
He submitted that enough is enough of the killing of innocent citizens by criminal herdsmen who have turned other ethnic groups into second citizens in their own country.
