The Council Secretary of Mokwa Local Government, Hon. Abubakar Usman, delivered the opening remarks on behalf of the Executive Chairman at the ongoing Mokwa Local Government Chairman’s Cup 2026 Draw Ceremony.
In his address, he warmly welcomed all the participating teams and commended them for embracing the tournament. He urged players, officials, and supporters to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the competition.
Hon. Abubakar also encouraged football fans to see the tournament as a platform for promoting unity, peaceful coexistence, and community development across Mokwa Local Government.
He further assured all participating teams that none would leave empty-handed, stating that every registered team would receive something meaningful in recognition of their participation in the competition.
