Ex. Sec Of Delta SMEs, Orezi Esievo Allegedly Buys Herself An Apartment Of $3.2m In Dubai

Former secretary of Delta State Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Mrs Orezi Esievo allegedly owned a luxury apartment in Dubai worth $3.2million.

Naija News understands that the allegation was made by Jackson Ude, a Nigerian strategic communication expert, investigative journalist.

Ude in a post on his Twitter account on Monday night, February 22 alleged that Esievo who reportedly purchased a property on Brink Road, Gaithersburg MD, USA, for $699,990.00 has another apartment in her name at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

The investigative journalist said the former Delta State House of Assembly member promised to get back to him on the alleged property when he reached out to her, noting that she is on a Zoom meeting as at the time he called.

Ude’s tweet reads: “Exe Sec of Delta State Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Mrs Orezi Esievo, also bought herself a luxury apartment at the Burj Khalifa, Dubai for about $3.2million. Her apartment number 135.76. In 2014, she bought a property on Brink Road, Gaithersburg MD, USA, for $699,990.00.

“Esievo was a member of the Delta State House of Assembly, a Commissioner for Special Duties and an ally of former Governor James Ibori. When I contacted her on her cellphone listed on the purchase document, she said she is on a zoom meeting and would get back. She never did!”

Meanwhile, the journalist had alleged that Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa‘s Chief Economic Adviser, Dr Kingsley Emu, purchased an apartment worth two hundred and seventy-four million, five hundred thousand in Dubai, Naija News reports.
