2027: ‘APC Has Backing Of The People’ – Felix Morka

President Tinubu Salutes Felix Morka On 60th Birthday

The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has rubbished claims that the party was going up in flames ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Naija News reports that the recent endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for a second term without the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, suggests that tension is brewing, and the party is grappling with internal wrangling.

However, Morka, in an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, said the party is not in trouble and its prospects have never been better.

Morka maintained that the defections to the ruling party were organic and had nothing to do with fear of survival.

He stated that those praying and hoping for the downfall of the ruling party would be disappointed because more prominent politicians would likely join the party.

He said, “We are waxing strong. The APC and its prospects have never been better.

“You see, look, there’s a reason that serious citizens, people who have, I think, been put to the test in their constituencies, who have won elections, who have the backing of their people, who are making deliberate decisions to come into our party.

“It’s not one, it’s not two, it’s not three, it’s a whole movement of people into our party. You can’t suggest possibly that all of these people together are not thinking enough, or don’t know what they’re doing.”
