Presidency Confirms Location Of Buhari After Claims He Has Embarked On Another London Trip

The Presidency on Saturday denied viral reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has embarked on another trip to London.

The denial follows claims that President Buhari has embarked on a fresh 20-day vacation to London in the United Kingdom.

But the Personal Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, Bashir Ahmad, in his reaction to the viral online report said the President is in Abuja.

He added that Buhari is not planning to embark on any trip to London.

He wrote: “The news going round that President Muhammadu Buhari has embarked on a 20-day vacation trip to London is FAKE. The President is in Abuja and he is not planning to embark on any trip to London.”

Naija News recalls President Buhari had visited London, the United Kingdom about a month ago for a scheduled medical check-up with his foreign doctors.

In other news, Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has declared his intention to contest the 2023 presidential election.

“I did not come to this decision lightly. I have served as Minister of Transportation, Governor for eight years, and another eight years as Speaker.

“I have served as Director-General of President Muhammadu Buhari campaign twice.

“I am well equipped for the presidency and have compassion for Nigeria.”

I am compelled to place my experience and proven capacity for the service of the nation at the highest level,” Amaechi added.
