YOUNG DEMOCRATS FOR ANYIM 2023 MEET IN ASABA, RESTRUCTURED FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS

The Nigeria Young Democrats Forum, which has adopted Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim as its choice Presidential Aspirant for the 2023 Elections, held a physical National Executive Meeting in Asaba, Delta State between Friday 19 to Saturday 20 March, 2022.

The Meeting which was aimed at reviewing progress made so far, planning activities for the 2023 General Election Circle, and restructuring the National Leadership for optimal impact, was a huge success in every sense of the word.

With all the 6 Geopolitical Zones of Nigeria well represented and 34 States actively in attendance, serious deliberation was made resulting in the issuance of a robust Communique.

In hIs Opening Speech, the Coordinator General, Comr. Chief Mayor Chinedu Enujeko reassured the Participants that they have made the best choice, and should be confident of the emergence of Sen. Anyim as next President of Nigeria, considering the fast growing national support and general acceptability he is enjoying across board.

Comr. Enujeko went on further to stress that, on like most Support Groups that operate and meet largely Online, existing only on the Internet, the Young Democrats will function more on ground with Physical Meetings and Interpersonal Mobilizations and Advocacies, in addition to a massive Social Media onslaught. He posited that Politics is Local, requiring physical interfaces for maximum impacts.

COMMUNIQUE RAISED AT THE NATIONAL MEETING OF THE NIGERIA YOUNG DEMOCRATS FORUM (YOUNG DEMOCRATS FOR ANYIM 2023), HELD IN ASABA, DELTA STATE BETWEEN FRIDAY, MARCH 19 – SATURDAY, MARCH 20, 2022.

The Meeting was convened by the National Leader, Comrade Chief Mayor Chinedu Enujeko to review the organizational structure, assess progress, and plan activities for the 2023 General Elections Circle.

The Meeting witness good attendance with all the 6 Geopolitical Zones of Nigeria duly represented and 34 States participating.

At the end of the 2-day deliberation, resolutions were made as follows;

That overwhelming majority of Members of the Nigeria Young Democrats Forum accept the adoption of His Excellency, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim as choice of the Organisation for the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria;

That the National Executive Board Formally ratifies the name YOUNG DEMOCRATS for ANYIM 2023 for the Organisation to use in campaigns and advocacies for the emergence of Sen. Anyim as the next President of Nigeria;

That the Slogan “YOUNG DEMOCRATS!!! PROMOTING ONE NIGERIA!!!”be adopted for the Organisation;

That the Organisation swings into immediate action towards mobilizing Members and relations that are likely Official Delegates to the PDP Primaries to support the noble course of voting Sen. ANYIM at the Primaries;

That the Young Democrats for Anyim shall fully participate in the Delta North Mega Youth SUMMIT, and the executives shall use the opportunity to hold a strategic Meeting with the Greater Nigeria Project Support Group Director Hon. Mrs Nkoli Mkparu. Also hold a Dinner in honour of Sen. ANYIM After the event;

That a strategic National Progrmme be designed by the leadership to further promote our Principal within the Party and beyond, especially in the Northern Region of the Federation;

That the Organisation identifies other PDP Aspirants for various Elective Positions other than President; who believe in Sen. Anyim and share his leadership Philosophies, and network such for collective victory during the 2023 General Elections;

That a Vote of very High Confidence be passed on Hon. Mrs Nkoli Mkparu for her inspirational leadership and excellent performance in coordinating all the Support Groups for Sen. Anyim Presidential Project, coupled with her impressive records in managing public perception of our Principal;

That the new National Executive Board, as proposed, with Comr. Mayor EnuJeko as Coordinator General, and Muktar Yar’Adua as Secretary General, alongside 19 others, be ratified and commence work immediately.
