A Mercedes Benz car has killed six children of the same parents at Arue-Uromi, Esan-North East Local Government Area of Edo State.
Naija News reports that the sad incident happened on Friday, January 15, 2021, in an attempt to dodge a pothole.
According to some residents, the children, four girls and two boys were playing football when the vehicle swerved and killed them.
The incident, however, provoked anger as the community residents immediately blocked the road and burnt the Mercedes Benz.
The development also paralysed business activities around the area.
Meanwhile, residents of Ado Ekiti on Sunday, January 17, 2021, uncovered a suspected ritualist den opposite the University Teaching Hospital in the state capital.
Police officers were immediately alerted. An elderly man paraded by residents of the area as a suspect was handed over to the police.
Items found at the den include cheque books, human photos, wigs, horns, ATMs, and other diabolic materials.
