All Progressive Congress, APC, chieftain, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to the vice president Yemi Osinbajo declaration of his interest in the 2023 presidential ticket.
Recall that Naija News reported earlier that Osinbajo had announced his interest in the 2023 president election in a video shared on his socialmedia handles.
Reacting to the development, the former Lagos governor explained that he does not have “no son grown enough to declare.”
Tinubu said this after a meeting with Governors elected on the platform of the party.
He explained that discussions during the meeting was centred around his ambition to lead the country from 2023.
“My mission is to seek the collaboration, encouragement and support of my party, the APC, for my ambition and mission to become the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
When asked to react to his ‘son’ declaration, he replied “I have no son grown enough to declare”.
During the 2015 presidential election, Tinubu sought to run with President Buhari but was asked to nominate to avoid a Muslim/Muslim ticket.
He went ahead to select Osinbajo, his former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice to take his place.
