Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has again mocked the defection of former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Naija News reports that FFK officially dumped the opposition party on Thursday to join the nation’s ruling party.

FFK was seen to the Presidential Villa on Thursday by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC, and governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni and Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State.

Granting an interview with a journalist after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, FFK claimed that he was led by the Spirit of God in his decision and that he joined the APC to help unify the country.

However, after describing the FFK’s move as unfortunate and an act of hunger, Omokri again took to Twitter to say that PDP losing FFK to receive Senator Shehu Sani is a net gain.

Omokri congratulates PDP on Sani’s move to the party, He likened the situation to Premier League club, Manchester United losing Sergio Romero to gain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Omokri tweeted:

Meanwhile, a presidential aide, Babafemi Ojudu, has expressed sadness over the defection of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Naija News earlier reported that the former minister officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling APC.

Fani-Kayode, whose move to the APC did not come as a surprise to many, met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Thursday.

In a post via his Facebook page on Thursday, Ojudu described Thursday as the saddest in his political career following Fani-Kayode’s defection into the APC.

The Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters added that he is unhappy after the former minister joined the ruling party.
