Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has ordered the immediate shut down of Bola Komo, a popular club in the state.

Naija News understands that before the order, residents of the area where the club is situated had lamented that the facility had become a choice place for teenagers engaging in immoral acts as well as where hard drugs are freely taken.

They said it was bad for a club to operate directly in front of a secondary school.

Akeredolu’s led government maintained that the shutting down of the club became necessary after security agencies profiled it as a hot spot.

While disclosing that the closure of the club would be indefinite, the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo, in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday said anyone found around the facility does that at his or her own risk.

It is pertinent to note that this order comes on the heels of a painstaking monitoring and surveillance effort culminating in detailed profiling of the facility as a hot spot by security agencies,” Ojo said.
