OHANEZE DECLARES SUPPORT FOR TINUBU’S GOVT, VOWS TO PROTECT IGBO BUSINESSES ACROSS NIGERIA, MAKES CASE FOR NICHOLAS UKACHUKWU

The President General of the foremost Igbo Socio-cultural Organisation, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has called on Igbo People all over Nigeria and across the World to support the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed.

Chief Iwuanyanwu acknowledged the fact that Ndigbo did not fully vote for President Tinubu due to general resolution to support a son of Igbo land at the 2023 Presidential Election. However, that now that President Tinubu has emerged victorious at Courts to level of Supreme Court, Ndigbo, a law abiding people and nation builder must rally round President Tinubu to ensure success of the Administration.

The President General made these assertions during a courtesy visit to him by the Igbo Community Assembly Abuja, led by it’s Chairman, Mr. Ositadinma Nwoye

In his address, Mr. Nwoye had complained that an estate belonging to one Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu was demolished illegally, calling for the urgent intervention of Chief Iwuanyanwu and the Ohaneze Ndigbo.

Mr. Nwoye stressed that Nicholas Ukachukwu and many Igbos that the Igbos have contributed remarkably to the socio-economic development of the Country, hence, deserves reciprocal treatment, not vendetta.

Chief Iwuanyanwu, in response, promised to talk with the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, who he revealed shared cordial relationship with him. He further said he would possibly reach out to President Tinubu who he had known through M.K.O Abiola.

Chief Iwuanyanwu enjoined the Igbo Assembly and Nigbo all over the Federation to remain peaceful and law abiding, while continuing to contribute to national development.

He concluded vowing to use the Ohaneze Platform to protect Igbo Businesses in Nigeria and beyond, whilw assuring that the Administration of President Tinubu would be favourable to Ndigbo.
