The Nigerian Youth Political Agenda (NYPA), the most prominent Youth Movement aimed at ensuring Power Shift to Youth and Young People come 2021, has perfected strategies and frameworks with the youtHouse reporters A.K.A the Great Green Parrot, to launch a Campaign tagged Operation YOUTHILITY VALUE
Operation Youthility Value is the Code Phrase for the criteria set out by NYPA and the youtHouse reporters for the Nigerian Youth and Young People to assess the committment of Political Leaders or Aspirants of Elections towards the Dreams and Aspirations of the Youth.
The Campaign is to be officially launched this Month of February 2021, through Virtual and Online Media.
Answering the question on Criteria for assessing Youthility Values the following steps were outlined;
1. ACCESS THE TRUE AGE OF THE LEADER, NOT FORGED AGED!!!
2. FIND OUT THEIR IN VOLEMENTS AND PARTICIPATIONS IN YOUTH ACTIVISM AND DEVELOPMENT
3. ASSESS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE WELL-BEING AND GROWTH OF THE YOUTH COMSTITUENCY DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
4. INVESTIGATE DETAILED PLANS AND AGENDA OF THE LEADER FOR THE FUTURE OF NIGERIAN YOUTH, AND GENUINE INTENTION FOR THE ASPIRATIONS OF THE YOUTH.
5. HARVEST TRUE LIFE TESTIMONIES OF YOUTHS AND YOUNG PEOPLE AROUND SUCH LEADER OR THAT KNOW SUCH LEADER, OVER THIER IMPACTS OR INFLUENCE ON THE LIVES AND DREAMS OF THE YOUTHS WITHIN THEIR AREAS OF JURISDICTION!!!
6. PERSONALLY ENGAGE THE LEADER IN AN OPEN ENCOUNTER / ACCOUNTABILITY CHAT WITH A CROSS SESSION OF YOUTHS FROM DIFFERENT POLITICAL DEVIDES!!!
7. ASSESS THE OVERALL SCORES; IF IT IS BELOW 60%, THEN SUCH A LEADER MUST NEVER BE SUPPORTED FOR ANY POLITICAL OFFICE BY THE NIGERIAN YOUTH, COME 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS.
