A 96-year-old Nigerian woman, Lady Monica Okoye, from Anambra State has recently celebrated her 96th birthday with some of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Naija News reports.
According to one of her daughters, Dr Ify Nwakwesi, via Instagram, shared the photo, said that Lady Monica, her mother had 12 children, eight surviving, who gave her 36 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
“Lady Monica Okoye has 12 children , 8 surviving who gave her 36 grand-,children and 43 great grand children. . We thank God”
Sharing a video of her mum’s 96th birthday celebration, Dr. Ify Nwakwesi wrote;
“Celebrating our mom lady knobs Okoye at 96”

Meanwhile, the whereabouts of a 22-year old student of the Cross River University of Technology is yet to be known weeks after receiving an invitation of a visit from a male friend in Lagos.
Priscilla Ojong who is said to be in her 300-level studying Mass Communication had supposedly left Calabar for Lagos three weeks ago and have since then not appeared at the varsity.
Iwara Iwara, a journalist and publisher of CaliTown who disclosed the development, said Ms Ojong has not been seen or heard from since she left Calabar, adding that her phone is unreachable. Two of her friends who spoke to Calitown confirmed that she travelled to Lagos on the invitation of an unknown male friend who credited her account with the transport fare.
