A 32-year-old desperate man and his mother are currently cooling off in the police net in Lagos State following their arrest over alleged murdered.
The prime suspect, Afeez Olalere was nabbed by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State Command while conveying the mutilated body of his younger sibling whom he had killed purposedly for money rituals.
Naija News learnt that the suspected internet fraudster had confessed to the security officers that his devilish action was encouraged by his biological mother.
According to SaharaReporters, Olalere confessed that his mother had advised him to kill his younger brother who is just 21 years of age for money rituals.
“My mother took me to a herbalist who told me if I want to be successful in the yahoo business, I will have to sacrifice one life and that person must be a sibling to me,” the suspected is quoted as saying.
Olalere in his alleged confession said they were given poison to use in killing his brother which they did.
He explained further that his brother died 20 minutes after consuming the deadly poison.
Adding that he immediately went ahead and harvested the required body parts as required of them by the herbalist and thereafter wrapped the remains and headed to a mortuary.
Unfortunately for Olalere, he was caught by the police during a stop-and-search operation along Itamaga, Ikorodu Road, in Lagos, Naija News learnt.
The suspect’s confession read further: “The things he would need to prepare a concoction with are his thumbs, his hair, fingers and a passport photograph.
“So, we went back home and thought about it, then my mother suggested that we use my younger brother since he is just 21 years old.
“She also brought the poison which we gave him to eat. He died within 20minutes after consuming the food. I was the one who cut out the body parts needed. We then wrapped his dead body and headed to the mortuary.”
