A landlord’s generator has reportedly killed a generator repairer identified simply as Paul.
The deceased was murdered while trying to repair a diesel generating plant in Delta.
According to Daily Post, the landlord had called for the help of his tenant who was attending an event as at that time to come fix the generator. When Paul got home in his agbada, he went straight to the site of the generator without changing his clothes.
When the deceased was done with the repair his attire got hooked to the generator unknown to him. The generator picked him up from the ground when it began to run and hit him on the ground smashing his head and mouth before help could come.
He was said to have bled profusely before help came and was rushed to a hospital where he was said to have died as a result of internal bleeding.
When the landlord returned home he went to the police station to report the unfortunate incident and was arrested by the police.
The bereaved’s family are saying the landlord must explain to them what killed their son who left a wife, four children, and an aged mother behind.
