BREAKING: Fani-Kayode Set To 'Dump PDP For APC'

A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, is reportedly set to rejoin the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) six years after he left for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

This was after meeting with the Chairman, Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, and Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello at a Guest House in Abuja.

The closed-door meeting, which lasted for about an hour, may not be unconnected with the alleged plans for the return of the former Minister to APC.

Fani-Kayode had earlier met with Governor Bello in his Wuse Zone 6 residence in Abuja before he led the former Minister to the party chairman’s Guest House.

In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday, Fani-Kayode said he paid a courtesy visit to the governor to discuss some issues concerning the latest happenings in the country.

Fani-Kayode said the visit which was a friendly one, provided a frank, candid, fruitful, and productive discussion about Nigeria.

The PDP chieftain called on all Nigerian politicians to come together without bitterness, and discuss ways to solve the challenges facing the country.

Fani-Kayode also urged Nigerians home and abroad to unite as one to save the country.

He wrote: “It was an honor to have spent quality time with my friend& brother Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi state last night. We had a frank, candid, fruitful& productive discussion about the way forward for our country.

“This is a clear case of politics without bitterness& of building bridges.

“This is a time that we as Nigerians must all come together as one to save our country.
