BAUCHI STATE YOUTH CONSULTATIVE FORUM TELLS WORKERS TO SHUN CORRUPTION

The Bauchi State YCF has urged workers at all levels to reject corruption, avoid mismanagement of public funds, and embrace accountability, honesty, and integrity as fundamental principles in their roles. Speaking during the 2024 May Day celebration, Chairman Hon. Umar Lauya Hardawa emphasized the pivotal role of Nigerian workers in combating corruption, stressing that their choices determine the success of this fight.

“The Nigerian workforce, predominantly comprising youths, holds immense power in shaping our nation’s integrity,” remarked Hon. Umar Lauya Hardawa. “We must continuously educate and empower them to champion a corruption-free ethos across all sectors and workplaces.”

The forum also called upon the government to enhance incentives and bonuses for workers, aiming to boost morale, performance, and overall productivity within the system.
