Akuapem Poloo Finally Released From Prisons After Outcry

Controversial Ghanaian actress Akuapem Poloo has been released from Nsawam Prisons.

Her Lawyer made this known via his social media account, where he revealed that she has been released from Nsawam Prisons and currently on her way home.

Apparently, the paper works for her bail has gone through and also met her bail conditions of Ghc80,000 with two sureties.

Akuapem Poloo is currently on bail and waiting for the outcome of her appeal to reduce the 90-day prison sentence. She is yet to make her first statement.

Naija News recalls Rosemond Brown, also known as Akuapem Poloo, was sentenced to 90-days imprisonment for posting nude photos with her son on social media.

The Accra Circuit Court convicted the actress over a naked picture she posted on her social media space on her son’s birthday last year.

Poloo was convicted after pleading guilty to the charges of a misdemeanour, domestic violence and publishing obscene material.
