The lingering strike by the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria and Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria may come to an end soon, as the bodies meet today with the Federal Government.

Naija News understands that a meeting is currently ongoing in view of suspending the strike action by the unions.

The unions had resolved to halt their activities following the refusal of governors to implement autonomy for state legislature and judiciary.

However, the meeting which is said to be taking place at the office of the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, has in attendance the President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba and others.

With much anxiety, a positive result could be recorded as the bodies seek to take the final endorsement of autonomy for legislature and judiciary.
