Former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has countered Bishop David Oyedepo’s anointing oil recommendations as remedy for dread COVID-19 disease.
Naija News had reported earlier that the Living Faith Church (Winner’s Chapel) general overseer on Sunday called on Nigerian government to come to him for solution to Coronavirus pandemic.
The respected clergyman warned his congregations not to take a jab of the COVID-19 vaccine distributed across the states, recommend anointing oil for them as supplement for the vaccines.
According to Oyedepo, the viral vaccine is devilish and hence non of his members will partake in receiving the jab.
Reacting to Oyedepo’s submission, the Kaduna State politician, Sank took to his verified Twitter account on Monday, May 10 to say that recommending anointing oil other than vaccine to cure Coronavirus disease is dangerous.
He tweeted: “Recommending anointing Oil other than vaccine to cure #COVID19 by our revered @DavidOyedepoMin is a dangerous prescription. I appeal to our respected religious leader to have a rethink & change his stance.
