Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has berated former vice presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, over his comments about Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Naija News reports that Baba-Ahmed had slammed Shettima, suggesting that there are many unspoken truths about the Nigerian Vice President.

When asked during a TV interview to speak on the insinuation that President Bola Tinubu has reopened the VP slot ahead of 2027, Baba-Ahmed stated that Tinubu has demonstrated a rare patience for him to have kept Shettima for this long.

He said Tinubu should not have allowed Shettima to remain in office as Vice President.

Baba-Ahmed refrained from going into specifics, but emphasised that anyone who knows what Shettima did will not even allow him to stay in office.

Responding to the claims on Arise News on Wednesday night, Hannatu Musawa lambasted the LP chieftain, describing his insinuations as dangerous.

She asserted that Baba-Ahmed was making insinuations based on lies, adding that he should apologise to the vice president.

What was he trying to say? I didn’t understand what he was trying to say.

“He was making insinuations, very dangerous insinuations based on lies, and I think it’s a real shame. I think Datti needs to apologize to VP (Shettima),” she said.
