Former Presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has named Nigeria as the only country that can be the next Africa superpower.
Naija News understands that the member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), mentioned this while reacting to Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey’s announcement that the micro-blogging platform now has its African headquarters in Ghana.
Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo had thanked Dorsey for seeing it fit to set up Twitter’s African headquarters in Ghana. A development described by the president as the beginning of new things.
Reacting to the development, Garba took to his Twitter account to say that Nigeria is being hated because many know that it is the only country that can be the next African Superpower with a good working-age population.
He tweeted: “I pray Ghana would not allow their country to be used as a platform for the orchestration of nuisance on the African internet space.
“Nigeria is safer with the Hypocrisy of Twitter. We shall have to improve on our methods for the elimination of Fake News in the information space.
“They just hate Nigeria because they know that the only country that can be the next African Superpower, fully democratic, highly mobile population & good working-age population in Nigeria.”
He added, “Twitter came to Ghana to target the Nigerian market. They won’t admit they need us, but we know.”
