Suspected gunmen on Friday attacked Ekwulobia Police station in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The police station was among the affected police office razed during the October #EndSARS crisis but it was renovated recently.
There claims that two people were killed in the attack.
The spokesperson of the Anambra State police command, DSP Ikenganyia Tochukwu, while speaking on the incident noted that the policemen responded swiftly and chased the hoodlums away.
He was silent on the death of officers but said investigation is ongoing, vowing that the perpetrators of the act would be arrested.
