Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has met with popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho in his home in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Recall that Igboho had asked Fulani herders to leave Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State over their alleged criminal activities.
The freedom fighter insisted that Fulani herders must fish out the killers of prominent Yoruba sons and daughters. He said that the reason for asking the herders to leave is because of unending killings and kidnapping.
However, the former minister had also supported the call by Igboho to criminal herders to leave the area, saying that the activist has the full support of the Yoruba nation.
But in a tweet via his Twitter page on Thursday, Fani-Kayode said he had a wonderful lunch and a very productive meeting with Sunday Igboho in his home.
The former minister described the activist as a truly impressive and very passionate Yoruba man.
He wrote: “I had a wonderful lunch and a very fruitful and productive meeting with my friend and brother Chief Sunday Adeyemo (aka Sunday Igboho) in his beautiful Ibadan home today. He is truly impressive and very passionate. May God be with him, his family and his entire household.”
