The Black Stars of Ghana joined Senegal, Cameroon, Tunisia, and Morocco to raise the Africa banner at the tournament.
The Mexico team led by Gerardo Martino will play against the Super Eagles in September.
The friendly games are part of the four matches lined up to prepare Mexico for the challenges at the World Cup, according to Medio Tiempo.
Mexico has been drawn into Group C against Argentina, Poland, and Saudi Arabia in Qatar.
