After 24 long years, football is back on a grand stage as the Mokwa Local Government Chairman’s Cup returns, bringing together 49 registered teams from across the Local Government Area.
This historic tournament, made possible through the visionary leadership and unwavering commitment of Hon. Jibrin Abdullahi Muregi (Dan Hajiyan Nupe), to improving grassroots football in Mokwa.
This is more than a competition it’s a movement to discover talent, unite our communities, empower our youths, and revive the spirit of football in Mokwa.
