A reward of ₦5 million has been announced for anyone who finds and returns the missing phone of Nigerian music icon, Wizkid.
The phone reportedly went missing on Saturday night during Wizkid’s surprise appearance at the Nativeland concert held at Sol Beach, Elegushi, Lagos.
During the event, DJ Tunez made an announcement from the stage, explaining that Wizkid’s phone had fallen during his energetic performance.
“While my brother Wizkid was performing, his phone dropped. Anybody who finds Wizkid’s phone, there’s ₦5 million waiting. It’s my boss’s phone. Please, if you find it, bring it to me,” DJ Tunez declared to the crowd.
He later reiterated the appeal on social media, posting on X (formerly Twitter): “I’m gooooooood! Please if you find Machala’s phone hit me up! Thank you!”
The Nativeland concert, which featured performances from several top artists, faced additional controversy after the stage partially collapsed during a performance by rapper Odumodublvck.
Videos circulating online captured the moment equipment fell, causing panic among attendees as they scrambled for safety.
