Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke also known as Davido has opened up on the amount of money he spends on some nights.
The father of three stated via Twitter that there are nights he spends over $30,000 (equivalent to N17 million,).
The singer said that he does this not to oppress people but to inspire others to aim higher in their endeavors.
“A night out like this will cost me none less than $30,000 we do this to Inspire not oppress ! Gang,” he tweeted.
Davido is known to be a big spender, often times indulging in diamonds and exotic cars.
The singer had last year established a N250m orphanage fund on his birthday. N50m of his personal donations and N200m from cash gifts he received from fans and colleagues.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has called out actress Nkechi Sunday’s estranged ’husband’ and Ekiti State politician, Opeyemi Falegan over fraudulent donations.
This is coming barely 48 hours after the messy breakup with the Nollywood actress.
In a post shared by Opeyemi Falegan, captured him soliciting donations for his foundation, urging followers to contribute to the foundation saying it will be submitted to UNICEF.
However, UNICEF via its Instagram handle, disassociated its organsiation from the Opeyemi Falegan’s foundation, stating they are not aware of any fictitious donations. Read more
