Where Is Bola Tinubu? – Atiku’s Aide Raises Alarm Over President’s Whereabouts

A media adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Paul Ibe, has questioned the whereabouts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the conclusion of the recently held BRICS summit in Brazil.

In a post via his verified 𝕏 handle on Saturday, Ibe expressed concern over the lack of updates from the Presidency regarding Tinubu’s activities since the summit ended.

“Many concerned Nigerians are asking where President Bola Tinubu is since the conclusion of the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

“On Saturday, 28 June 2025, Tinubu commenced a two-nation visit to Saint Lucia and Brazil. The 17th BRICS Summit ended three days ago.

“There is no other engagement on his itinerary, according to the press statement preceding his trip, raising concerns about his whereabouts. However, mum is the word,” Ibe wrote.

Ibe added: “Is it possible that the Nigerian President’s aircraft is passing through a zone where time is standing still?”

Silence from Aso Rock

Naija News reports that the Presidency has yet to issue a formal statement updating the nation on Tinubu’s whereabouts following the conclusion of the BRIC summit.

The trip, which began on June 28, included scheduled stops in Saint Lucia and Brazil, with the BRICS engagement in Rio de Janeiro marking the high point.

Since the summit ended earlier this week, Tinubu has not been seen publicly, and no official communication has been released to indicate if he has returned to Nigeria or continued on an unscheduled leg of the visit.

Ibe’s comments have stirred mixed responses on social media.
