Unknown Gunmen on Friday abducted a health worker and his brother in Wusasa, Zaria local government area of Kaduna State
According to reports, the bandits invaded the area and shot sporadically to disperse the crowd before picking Yushau and his brother, Joshua Peter at St. Luke Hospital, Wusasa.
The village head of Wusasa, Engineer Isiyaku Ibrahim confirmed the incident to Daily Trust on Saturday.
“The kidnappers have made our area their target of attacks, abducting many of our people so often,” he said.
Both Yushau and Joshua are indigenes of the Ikara local government who recently ran for their lives after bandits attacked their resident and abducted their aged father, Peter.
Gunmen Abduct Top APC Official In Kaduna
Meanwhile, unknown gunmen, on Friday night, abducted the Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Kawu Ibrahim Yakasai.
Naija News learnt that Yakasai, a former Chairman of Soba Local Government Area in the state, was kidnapped from his house in Yakasai village at night.
Confirming the incident, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kaduna State Governor, Mohammed Lawal Shehu, in a statement on Saturday, August 26, said the Governor had directed security agencies to go after the abductors and ensure that Yakasai regained freedom.
The Governor, Uba Sani, restated his administration’s commitment to the safety of lives and property of all residents in the state.
