Willy Kambwala is expected to complete his transfer to Villarreal in the coming days as Manchester United have agreed to sell him to the Spanish side this summer.
The transfer is expected to cost Villarreal an initial €5.5 million which will increase to €11.5 million when add-ons are included.
According to a BBC report, the contract comes with a buy-back clause which means that the 19-year-old France defender could return to Old Trafford in the future.
Kambwala managed to make just 10 appearances for coach Erik ten Hag last season. He is leaving United for Villarreal for regular game time.
Liam Delap leaves Manchester City
Newly promoted Premier League club, Ipswich Town has completed a transfer deal for Manchester City’s 21-year-old English forward, Liam Delap.
Coach Kieran McKenna‘s side paid City an initial transfer fee worth £15 million which is expected to increase to £20 million due to add-ons. The deal is expected to keep Delap at the club until June 30, 2029.
“The manager here likes to play exciting football. It’s quick and intense and I am looking forward to that,” Delap told Ipswich’s website after
“I want to bring goals and assists and I’ll work as hard as I can to help the team.”
Troy Parrott Leaves Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur have sold their 22-year-old Republic of Ireland forward, Troy Parrott to Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.
The official transfer fee paid for Parrott wasn’t revealed but the BBC claimed that the Dutch club paid around £6.7 million for his services.
“I think AZ is the perfect club for me to take the next steps in my development,” Parrott told AZ’s website after sealing the deal.
“It helps me that I already played in the Netherlands last season and am therefore used to the competition and life here.”
Former France coach Laurent Blanc moves to Saudi Pro League
Former head coach of France’s national team, Laurent Blanc has been appointed as the manager of the Saudi Pro League club, Al-Ittihad.
Blanc last coached French Ligue 1 club, Lyon and has been without a job since he left the side in September 2023.
The 58-year-old tactician will work with countrymen N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema at Al-Ittihad.
