Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has advised Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta to sign Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.
There have been speculations that the Spaniard has the intention to bring Jesus to the Emirate after letting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang go in January.
Arteta would have to bring in a new striker with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to leave the club.
The former England defender believes Jesus would get Arsenal goals if given regular playing time at the club.
Ferdinand while speaking with Vibe with Five said, “You speak to players about him, they appreciate him because he puts a good workload in, he has got quality.
“I think if he plays consistently in a team like Arsenal, I think he gets you goals.
“By the way, [Eddie] Nketiah at the weekend [against Manchester United] I thought was brilliant. Held up the ball well, brought others into the game.”
Jesus is expected to join the North London side during the summer transfer window.
There are claims that the Brazilian has agreed to personal terms with Arsenal with Manchester City planning to sign Erling Haaland during the transfer window.
