President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday received the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbbas, and the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa.
Naija News reports that Tinubu met the duo at his office in Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This was made known in a post on X by Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.
He wrote: “Speaker of House of Representatives, RT Hon @Speaker_Abbas who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Passing Out Parade of the 71 Regular Course and Direct Short Service Courses (28 Army and 32 Air Force) at the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA), earlier today presented the President with the sovernir given to him in company of the Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa at the Presidential Villa.”

In other news, President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar met on Friday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
Naija News reports the two leaders met and exchanged pleasantries during the Jummah prayer at the National Mosque.
According to presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the occasion was also the wedding of the daughter of Senator Danjuma Goje.
Onanuga described Atiku as an old friend of President Tinubu.
“President Tinubu meets old friend Atiku Abubakar at the National Mosque. It was at the Jumat and wedding of the daughter of Senator Danjuma Goje,” Onanuga wrote.
Some prominent personalities who were also in attendance included the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, and former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff.
