Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday noted that Nigerians have the power to sack any government as the citizens are their employer.
The IPOB leader who took to his Twitter account on Thursday said it is time to pay the government back in their coin.
Recall that the former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Tuesday accused IPOB members of attacking Imo State Police Headquarters and the correctional centre in Owerri, the state capital.
Kanu in his tweet alleged that the Nigerian government has killed its citizens enough, hence, a need for payback.
The tweet reads: “No government can defeat her citizens. The citizens are their employers. You can never be stronger than your employer. He/She has the right to sack you.”
“#Nigeria Govt with British Neo-Colonialists have killed us enough. Time for citizens to pay them back in their coin. #UGM”.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, on Wednesday accused aggrieved politicians of sponsoring the attacks on police headquarters and correctional centre in Owerri, the state capital, on Monday.
The Imo State Governor, however, stated that aggrieved politicians were behind the attacks to destabilise his party, the All Progressives Congress.
