A bouncer has been arrested by the Delta State Police for murdering a teenage boy at a wedding.
The incident occurred on Saturday, September 25 at a wedding reception in a hotel located in Mofo, Udu council area when one Francis Utuedor stabbed a secondary school student to his death.
The secondary school student, Oghenemaro Eriana was about to pick some money sprayed on the couple when the bouncer allegedly brought out a knife ad stabbed him Tribune reports.
The victim was at the wedding with his mother who lost an older son two months ago. The deceased’ family were neighbours to the groom.
DSP Bright Edafe who is the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Police Command has confirmed the story and has revealed that the assailant has been arrested.
