President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to Femi Fani-Kayode’s alleged defection to the All Progressive Congress, APC party.
Naija News reports that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State had confirmed the return of former Minister of Aviation, Fani-Kayode to APC from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The politician on Monday, February 8 met with the National Chairman of the party, Governor Mai Buni of Yobe State and some other chieftain of the Nigeria ruling party.
However, Fani-Kayode has in a subsequent post on Twitter denied leaving PDP for APC.
He wrote: “Though we have had meetings across party lines and we are in a season of political consultation I have not left the PDP”.
