The Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo on Thursday apologised to the people of Anambra State and guests at his inauguration following the clash between Obiano’s wife, Ebelechukwu and Bianca Ojukwu.
The media aide to Soludo, Joe Anatune in a statement released on Thursday said the breach during the inauguration was caused by improper communication which arose from a personal issue between the two parties involved.
He noted that the breach happened after Ebelechukwu approached Ojukwu and said some words which led to the clash.
The statement read, “Sadly, the fight took the shine off the main event of the day.
According to Soludo, steps are being taken to end their differences and restore the parties to their previous relationship.
“Anambra State has over the years been known for a huge stock of social harmony, and the stock will increase substantially in the years ahead as part of the concerted effort to accelerate the state’s development.”
Naija News had earlier reported that the duo clashed at the swearing-in on Thursday after Obiano’s wife confronted Bianca, accusing her of not wanting the husband to be Governor while allegedly calling her a bitch.
A further report had it Ebelechukwu was later taken away and shortly after her husband left the venue.
