Vice President Kashim Shettima has been conferred with a Honorary Doctorate Degree of Science by the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.
The Chancellor of the University and Emir of Lafia in Nasarawa State, Justice Sidi Muhammad (retd.), conferred the degree on the vice president.
Shettima was conferred the degree on Saturday, November 18, during the convocation of the institution
Earlier, the vice president inaugurated the One billion Naira Abdulsamad Rabiu International Centre for Innovation and Enterpreneurship at the University.
