Former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has condemned in totality the attack and abduction of students of the Greenfield University along Kaduna-Abuja road.
Naija News had reported earlier that some unknown gunmen gunmen suspected to be bandits stormed the varsity on Tuesday night and kidnapped yet to be confirmed numbers of students.
It was gathered that the heavily armed men invaded the school around 10.30 pm on Tuesday, shot a security guard.
The spokesman of the police command, ASP Muhammad Jalige, who confirmed the incident, noted that they are yet to get the exact number of students that had been abducted.
Reacting to the disturbing event, Sani in a post on his verified Twitter account urged proprietors of schools within the axis to be sensitive.
According to Sani, many persons including him have been forced to abandon their farms to the care of God.
