A former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has condemned the killing of three out of 25 abducted in Anguwan Bulus community in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Naija News earlier reported that the community head, Gideon Goni, had disclosed that the terrorists killed the three victims over a delay in the payment of ransom.
In a chat with reporters on Tuesday, Goni said the gunmen contacted the community on the telephone to inform them of the killing of the three victims.
He also said the community had retrieved the three corpses of the victims from where the kidnappers deposited them.
The village head added that the terrorists threatened to kill other victims in their captivity if the community fails to pay the N20 million ransom on Tuesday.
Reacting to the development in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, Shehu Sani wondered why the security agencies have not rescued the kidnapped victims and arrested the terrorists.
The former lawmaker also queried the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and security operatives to track the calls made by the terrorists to the community.
He wrote: “Terrorists abducted 25 people from Anguwan Bulus, Kaduna and MADE PHONE CALLS for ransom, when the ransom was delayed, they killed 3 of the victims.
“The question again; why can’t the NCC and security agencies track these calls and callers?”
