Shehu Sani Reacts As Gunmen Kill Major General Ahmed

The former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central senatorial district, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the killing of Maj Gen Hassan Ahmed in Abuja.

Naija News gathered that the former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army was murdered in Abuja on Thursday night by gunmen.

It was reported that the gunmen also abducted Ahmed’s sister on Thursday.

Sani while reacting to the incident expressed concern that such could happen to a top military officer within Abuja.

The former lawmaker in a post on Twitter wrote, “The killing of Major General Hassan Ahmed and the kidnapping of his wife right in Abaji, Abuja is sad, unfortunate and tragic.

“That this can happen to a man of such ranking within the vicinity of the capital city tells it all. May he rest in Aljanna Firdausi. Amin.”
