The Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District, Senator Patrick Ndubueze, popularly called the Legacy Senator, has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for what he described as impactful and visionary leadership as the Imo State Government marks six years in office and the second year of its second term.
In a statement issued to commemorate the anniversary, Senator Ndubueze praised Governor Uzodimma for fulfilling the promises made to the people of Imo State, noting that the administration’s governance style reflects the enduring legacy of former Governor Sam Mbakwe, which the governor pledged to revive.
According to the Legacy Senator, the Governor Uzodimma Administration has recorded significant achievements across critical sectors of the state’s economy, demonstrating a genuine commitment to the welfare and development of Ndi Imo. He highlighted key interventions in road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, education, land administration, civil service reforms, transportation, tourism, electricity, oil and gas development, security architecture, youth empowerment, and the recovery of diverted government assets.
The Lawmaker added that these initiatives have repositioned Imo State for sustainable growth while enhancing investor confidence and national relevance.
He particularly applauded the Administration’s expansive and inclusive road infrastructure projects, describing them as transformational and deserving of national recognition. He referenced the Governor’s recent honour as Infrastructure Governor of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Newspapers as a testament to the impact of his leadership.
The senator concluded that the people of Imo State remain proud beneficiaries of Governor Uzodimma’s vision-driven governance and expressed gratitude for the progress recorded under his Administration.
