The wedding ceremony of President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf, and a daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Zarah Ado Bayero is beginning to take shape as they release an invitation card.
According to the Invitation card, the grand wedding is set to hold on August 20 at the Bichi Emir palace in Kano state at 1.30 pm.
It was also gathered that the wedding would have taken place earlier but the absence of the groom’s mother, Aisha Buhari, who went on a six-month ‘medical trip’ in Dubai stalled the ceremony until August.
“Now that his mother returned a few weeks to Ramadan [Muslim holy month], it is clear the wedding will take place after Sallah holidays,” a source had said.

Meanwhile, a delegation of Nigerian Governors and ministers on Sunday stormed the palace of the Emir of Kano to formalise plans for the wedding.
The Emir of Bichi is the younger brother of the Emir of Kano, who hosted the delegation from the president.
Some members of the first family were also at the palace to finalise plans for the wedding.
