The Executive Chairman of Agaie Local Government, Sayuti Ibrahim Halil, embarked on a community tour earlier today, visiting Akwanu, Guregi, Wanigi and Shaba Woshi in the Kintako axis. His visit was a compassionate gesture to condole with the people of Akwanu, who recently lost four community members in a boat accident.
During his tour, Sayuti also attended the wedding ceremony of the APC Baro Ward secretary In Guregi and the Tagagi Ward councilor in Wanigi. In his address, he emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence among residents, fostering harmony and unity within the community.
In addition to his emotional support, Sayuti demonstrated his commitment to the community’s well-being through various donations. He presented wrappers to women unit mobilizers from Baro and Tagagi wards, promoting women’s empowerment and inclusiveness
Furthermore, Sayuti donated ₦500,000 to support the completion of the Wanigi central mosque, a gesture that reflects his dedication to the community’s spiritual growth, #500, 000 thousand donation at Akwanu to the family of the deceased and victims of communal clash with Gbanchiku in Lapai Local Government and #250, to Guregi community mosque in Baro ward.
He also provided a generator, football jerseys and balls contributing to the community’s infrastructure and recreational development.
Sayuti’s community tour and generous donations have undoubtedly strengthened his bond with the residents, promoting peaceful coexistence and social cohesion in Agaie Local Government.
