The richest man in the world, Elon Musk has challenged the president of Russia Vladimir Putin to a single combat amidst the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
Musk took to his Twitter account to call on Putin to face him in a physical fight and if he wins Ukraine gets freedom.
He went on to tag Kremlin to his tweet challenging Putin and asked: “Do you agree to this fight?”
The Twitter app is currently banned in Russia so it is questionable if Putin would notice that Musk has challenged him to a duel.
Putin, 69, is an ex-KGB officer and a black belt in judo. He has practiced judo since his childhood and became the first Russian to achieve the eighth dan black belt in 2012, before being awarded the ninth dan black belt in taekwondo a year later.
Meanwhile, the United States of America has warned China that there will be consequences if they should provide support for Russia in the ongoing unrest in Ukraine.
A senior US officer told CNN that Russia has asked China for military assistance in Ukraine, including drones.
Jake Sullivan, White House National Security Adviser, stated that China providing Russia with support is a reason to be concerned. Read more
